Zaans Museum - Claude Monet collection promotional video
On the day of his arrival in Zaandam, Claude Monet wrote his good friend and painter Camille Pissarro. In the letter Monet describes his first impression of the Netherlands and Zaandam, where he eventually stayed for four months and made twenty-five paintings.
In the assignment of Zaans Museum, Cinemore filmed and recorded an audio guide of the letter Claude Monet wrote on June 2, 1871, the day of his arrival in Zaandam. For Dutch visitors, the text was recorded by artist Jasper Krabbé, supplemented by his reflection on Monet's letter and works.
